2.1 Voice Ownership

You retain full ownership of the voice recordings you upload or generate with our Service.

2.2 AI Generation

You acknowledge that we may process your recordings using third-party AI services such as ElevenLabs to bring stories to life. These services are integrated to process and enhance your input but do not share or make public any private voice recordings.

2.3 Storage

Your recordings and stories are stored securely and are accessible only to you unless you choose to share them. We take data protection seriously and do not publicly distribute any content without your explicit consent.

2.4 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content that is harmful, infringing, or unlawful.

3. License to Use the Service

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Hilltale for personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted remain with us.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack any part of the Service.
• Upload content that violates intellectual property rights or is offensive, abusive, or invasive.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access if we find you in violation of these terms.

5. Third-Party Services

Hilltale integrates services from third parties, including ElevenLabs for voice synthesis. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers but ensure they comply with industry standards for privacy and security.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, branding, and software provided by Hilltale are the property of the company or its licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content from the Service without permission.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Hilltale at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hilltale is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
